Tradition as a foundation
Avesco AG is based in Langenthal (Switzerland) and can look back on a long tradition. Originally founded in Langenthal as Ulrich Ammann AG 150 years ago – and a member of the Ammann Group – Avesco became an independent company in 2001. Since then, Avesco has continued to bank on its partnership as a Swiss retail partner for Caterpillar that has existed since 1931.
On 1 October 2016, Avesco AG acquired the Caterpillar representation in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
On 1 January 2020, Avesco AG took over the Cat dealership in Finland. The number of employees at the Avesco Group grew to around 1000 through the acquisition.
